WHAT MAKES BELLOOST DIFFERENT TO OTHER CHIROPRACTIC PREGNANCY PILLOWS ON THE MARKET?

There are several pregnancy pillows that offer support for your pregnant ladies to lay on their front. What makes Belloost pillows unique is that they not only incorporate the same/superior patient safety and comfort elements, but they have been specifically designed to allow a wider variety of assessment and treatment techniques to be used on patients while prone. Thus the comfort factor does not get in the way of you delivering the best treatments possible.

It is also the first prone pregnancy pillow designed and produced exclusively in the UK.

ARE BELLOOST PILLOWS ONLY FOR CHIROPRACTIC USE?

No. The Belloost pillow has been designed for all manual therapists. Our focus at Belloost is to allow you to use the specific techniques you want and need to treat each unique patient without your equipment getting in the way; no matter what type of manual therapy you provide.

IS THE BELLOOST PILLOW ONLY SUITABLE FOR PREGNANT PATIENTS?

Belloost pillows will offer comfort to all your big bellied patients to lay on their front. Pregnant bellies, beer bellies, food-baby bellies and even women with sensitive breasts, will all gain the same support from your Belloost pillow. Due to the special contours and intelligent core, you will still have most of your prone adjustment techniques still available to you to utilise.

Don’t forget most benches have a thoracic piece that can be lowered to create more tummy space, which is always a good first port of call in the early stages of pregnancy.

WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF THE BELLOOST PILLOW?

Weight: ~2.7 kg

Length: 76 cm

Width: 51cm

Thickness: 18cm

The outer shape is adjustable width-wise for you slightly wider patients.
The centre breast and belly hole measures 48cm in length and can be made 8cm smaller when the insert is attached for your smaller patients.

WHY IS IT MORE EXPENSIVE TO BUY A CUSTOM COLOUR?

DO I NEED TO WASH THE COVER OF MY BELLOOST PILLOW?

No! The case on your Belloost pillow has been created using high quality medical grade vinyl which has been manufactured for the healthcare industry. This mean it has special layers of antibacterial and anti-fungal properties incorporated into its vibrant colouring. All that is required to clean your Belloost cushion is a damp cloth with warm soapy water or a mild detergent (watered down). Wipe it down gently like you would your bench, blocks, activator etc. and dry it with a towel! That's it! Avoid using harsh detergents. Be aware that vinyl fabric may look like leather but does not have the same resilience to abuse as leather.

Do not under any circumstances remove the case from your Belloost pillow. Our assembling team has had specific training on how to put it all together perfectly for you. So unless you have undergone the training, you will not be able to get it all back together without compromising its functionality.
